Hot deformation characterization of nickel-based superalloy UNS10276 through processing map and microstructural studies

Hot deformation characteristics of alloy UNS10276 were studied by compression tests. Constitutive modeling and processing map were established using flow stress. Microstructural evolution was characterized by EBSD technique. The optimum hot working window for alloy UNS10276 was identified. Secondary work hardening was manifested as one of the causes of instable flow.
