Geochemical and microfossil analyses of Garamantian pottery for provenance Analyses of 1st millennium BCE and 1st millennium CE pottery from Jarma, Libya Analyses suggest materials sourced in palaeolake sediments fairly locally. Red on white painted ware with microfossils stands out from other pottery. Red on white ware may have been the object of localised trade in the Sahara.
