We propose a new detoxification system for aflatoxin B1. The nitrogen gas plasma instrument could degrade aflatoxin B1. The treatment of nitrogen gas plasma generated small fragments of aflatoxin B1 and reduced the biological activity. The main mechanism of detoxification might involve production of reactive chemical species.
