Enzyme-loaded PVA microspheres were produced by membrane emulsification. Uniform particles were obtained by membrane emulsification/glutaraldeyde crosslinking. Lipase was immobilized during particles formation or after particles production. Lipase oriented immobilization in its active form was obtained by entrapment. Improved operational stability and optimal enzyme-substrate interaction was accessed.
