Unpoled porous PZT95/5 are fabricated via systematic additions of pore formers. Nonlinear behavior of PZT95/5 is due to domain switching and phase transformation. Normalized critical stresses decrease with increasing porosity. A critical volumetric strain is proposed for the onset of phase transformation.
