Immunization with pDREP-TgNTPase-II elicited specific humoral responses. Immunization with pDREP-TgNTPase-II elicited high IFN-γ cellular immune response. The specific response elicited is Th1 predominant immune response. Immunization with pDREP-TgNTPase-II protects mice against Toxoplasma acute infection. Immunization with pDREP-TgNTPase-II significantly reduces brain cyst burden in mice.
