Quaternary fluvial wetland deposits have been studied in the Las Tablas de Daimiel. The efficiency of ERI/GPR for stratigraphic studies has been analysed. The geophysical survey, boreholes and sedimentological studies have been compared. ERI provides an effective technique for delineating basement-sedimentary contact. Basement irregularities are controlled by fractures and karstic processes.
