Improved photoluminescence intensity and thermal stability brought by increasing Eu3+ content in KBaY1−xEuxSi2O7 solid-solution phosphors

A series of KBaY1−xEuxSi2O7 solid-solution phosphors were synthesized. There is no concentration quenching occurs in this system. Improved PL properties can be brought by increasing Eu3+ content. The KBaEuSi2O7 phosphor show best PL intensity and thermal stability.
