The effect of clay mineral nature on the structure and morphology of polypropylene/polyamide nanocomposites was studied. In the case of OMMT, polyamide nodule size reduction is due to the presence of a structured clay interphase. In the case of synthetic talc (ST), ST stacks within polyamide nodules are responsible for nodule size reduction.
