HR/LR rats display proactive and reactive coping respectively. HR rats display greater shock-induced activation of 5HT-neurons in the cDRD. LR rats display greater shock-induced activation across amygdala nuclei. Region-specific mRNA-miRNA networks may contribute to HR/LR phenotype.
