Texturing and anti-reflective coating PV module’s surface boost the power output. Texturing generally raises the temperature relative to that of flat glass modules. Module power reduced by 40% after ten months of exposure without cleaning. Dust fouling can be mitigated by texturing and anti-reflecting coating in the order of 5%. Silicone and Ionomere encapsulants boosts the power output of a clean module only.
