REKAB technology allows removing more than 70% of pesticide within 15 days. Adsorption onto the carbon bed is the primary mechanisms in REKAB remediation. Adsorption totalizes 40% of the removal of 2,4-D and 60% of the removal of CLSF. Volatilization of herbicides is prevented in the REKAB technology. Less efficient transport of herbicides to the electrode wells in REKAB.
