The use of a daily feedback tool increases the amount of feedback episodes compared to traditional feedback practices Initiation of feedback from the preceptor/clinical educator is the ignition for developing a trusting relationship Once trusting student-preceptor relationships are formed, students demonstrate more self-evaluation and self-regulation When students become self-evaluative and self-regulated, the role of the preceptor is less stressful When students become self-evaluative and self-regulated they become motivated to advance in performance
