Analytical procedure for determination of REEs in seawater was developed. Combination of automated pre-treatment seaFAST system and HR ICP-SFMS was used. The results obtained in this study agreed with REEs values published elsewhere. The method was validated according to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. The uncertainty budget was a tool for evaluation of uncertainty contributors.
