Finite element micromagnetic simulation of the three different reversal mechanisms. For the curling mechanism, the new phenomenon is the rotation of the vortex. In the domain reversal mechanism, the formed domain wall is smaller than 180°. In soft ferromagnetic particles a rearrangement of the magnetic domains is observed.
