The complete mitogenome of Thitarodes sejilaensis is a typical circular molecule of 15, 290 bp. Among 22 transfer RNAs, tRNASer does not possess the dihydrouridine arm and could not form a stable stem-loop structure. Hepialus adopted in China should be assigned to the following genera: Thitarodes, Ahamus, Hepialus and Parahepialus.
