NiMoO4/g-C3N4 composite was prepared by a mixing and calcination method. NiMoO4/g-C3N4 showed high efficiency in RhB degradation and hydrogen production. The NiMoO4/g-C3N4 can degrade RhB 4.4 times that of g-C3N4. The hydrogen production ability of NiMoO4/g-C3N4 is 4.4 times higher than that of g-C3N4. The influence factors on the photoactivity of NiMoO4/g-C3N4 were investigated.
