Comprehensively compare the different techniques to modify the Czerny-Turner imaging spectrometer for ultrahigh resolution with only the off-the-shelf optics. Configuration with the added cylindrical lens provides the maximum wavelength bandwidth with point FOV, but fails to work with 1-D FOV as its performance degrades along the spatial direction. Configuration with the added cylindrical mirror shows more balanced aberration correction ability both along the spectral direction and along the spatial direction with 1-D FOV.
