The paper presents the first implementation of Emotional ANN in hydrology. EANN was applied to model rainfall-runoff process of 2 different watersheds. Three different data division strategies were considered in training process. Multi step ahead runoff forecasting was also performed as well as single step. Overall results showed superiority of proposed EANN over classic FFNN.
