Runoff quantity and quality were assessed in different artificial urban surfaces. Low rainfall intensity and surface degradation resulted in low runoff coefficients. The best runoff quality was associated with concrete. Physicochemical properties are outstanding compared to that of conventional sources. Harvesting urban runoff might improve urban water self-sufficiency.
