A magnetic thermo-responsive hydrogel for mechanobiology is proposed. Hydrogels change phase upon magnetic stimulation near physiological temperature. Phase changes are reversible and triggered in an aqueous environment. The hydrogels are biocompatible for murine fibroblast cells.
