Robust formulation for the design of tissue engineering scaffolds: A comprehensive study on structural anisotropy, viscoelasticity and degradation of 3D scaffolds fabricated with customized desktop robot based rapid prototyping (DRBRP) system
Structural anisotropy, viscoelasticity and physiological environment directly influenced the scaffolds’ properties. In vitro degradation study evaluates the degradation kinetics of the scaffolds. Both PCL and PCL-PEG scaffolds realized homogeneous hydrolytic degradation. This study is to determine the suitability of a particular scaffold to cater for a targeted tissue engineering application.
