Mcl-1 is overexpressed in hypopharyngeal carcinoma tissues. CDKI-73 reduces Mcl-1 expression of hypopharyngeal carcinoma cells by CDK9 inhibition. CDKI-73 alone induces apoptosis in hypopharyngeal carcinoma cells. CDKI-73 synergizes with cisplatin against hypopharyngeal carcinoma cells.
