Boron doped g-C3N4 photocatalysts.
The formed N-B-C structure narrowed the band gap of g-C3N4.
The formed N-B-C structure enhanced the absorption intensity of visible light.
B- g-C3N4 show high performance in the photocatalytic reduction of UO22+.
A promoting effect of the doped N-B-C structure was proposed.
