The first time to investigate the interaction of Pneumococcal DnaJ and innate immunity. TLR4 were involved in DnaJ-induced BMDCs activation and maturation. DnaJ activate BMDCs through MAPKs, NF-κB and PI3K-AKT pathways. This research contributes to the future development of DnaJ-based pneumococcal protein vaccines.
