Energy shift in the Dirac points depending strongly on proximity exchange term. Berry curvature is non-zero and valley dependent in silicene. Orbital magnetic moments are opposite for each valley and tunable. Charge carriers are polarized depending on valley and spin degree of freedom. Interplay of electric field and spin orbit interaction causes phase transition.
