A multiple–relaxation-time (MRT) lattice Boltzmann model is adopted to estimate the apparent permeability of organic shale. A new boundary condition is proposed to capture gas slippage and surface diffusion. The effects of pore width, pressure and Langmuir properties on apparent permeability at different surface diffusivities are analyzed.
