Characterization of Fusarium graminearum isolates recovered from wheat samples from Argentina by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy: Phenotypic diversity and detection of specific markers of aggressiveness
FTIR dry film technology allowed studying the phenotypic variability among F. graminearum isolates. FTIR-based technology in combination with multivariate analysis showed a high diversity in the population study. An association between fungal lipid content and aggressiveness was determined for the first time in F. graminearum isolates.
