Previous studies linked autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to metabolic irregularities. A model describing transmethylation and transsulfuration pathways was developed. Case-control clinical data were used to estimate distribution of model parameters. Sensitivity analysis identified potential metabolic reactions of interest. Results of this study hint at potential intervention strategies for ASD.
