Effects of afforestation scenarios on carbon storage and plant species richness. Plant species richness modelled for different groups: all plants, pollination traits, protection status and native status. Red List and indigenous plant species are not well covered by the model for all plant species. Trade-offs between carbon storage and plant species richness varied in space. Priority areas for afforestation identified based on trade-offs.
