Fun30 chromatin remodeler down regulates DNA damage checkpoint. Fun30 does not affect intra-S phase replication checkpoint. Fun30 is cell cycle regulated with its abundance peaking in G2/M phase. Restricting Fun30 to G2/M does not affect its functions in genotoxin-resistance. Confining Fun30 to S phase abolishes its functions in genotoxin-resistance.
