The honeycomb-type Ni/CeO2 catalyst was successfully prepared by wash-coating. The prepared catalyst demonstrated a high performance for CO2 methanation. The configuration of the honeycomb-fin influenced the performance. The stacked-fin enhanced the performance so as to improve the mass transfer. The structured Ni/CeO2 catalyst has the potential to be a practicable catalyst.
