We estimate factors predicting low-priced (LP) US PV systems in 2013. Focus on LP reveals differences from studies of mean prices. System characteristics (e.g. size, module type) are important predictors. Experienced installers associated with LP. Solar subsidies appear to broaden distribution of system prices.
