The Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems (UPS) are used to power electrical loads at the time of power unavailability. Extensive use of inefficient UPS can cause problem for the National Grid. Pakistan has a demand and supply gap of up to 6000 MW electricity system. Inefficient UPSs waste around 2%–7% of electricity.
