T. solium cysticercosis is present in pigs in Kamuli, Mukono and Masaka districts. True sero-prevalence was estimated to be 0.0% in rural and 12.3% in the urban production settin. HP10 Ag-ELISA was more sensitive and specific (Se = 53.9%; Sp = 97.0%) than the ApDia assay (Se = 20.2%; Sp = 92.2%).
