Flame is stretched due to restriction on air entrainment by ceiling. Ceiling temperature and heat flux below are closely related with flame length. Decay rate of longitudinal heat flux increases with pool aspect ratio. Heat fluxes with symmetrical and asymmetrical flames are predicted well by new model.
