In this paper, a new boundary element method is developed for solving the nonlinear heat conduction problems with temperature dependent thermal conductivity of materials for the first time.
Radial integration method is used to deal with the domain integral due to the temperature dependence of the thermal conductivity of the materials, and the radial basis functions are employed to approximate the unknowns appearing in the domain integral.
Newton–Raphson iteration method is applied to solve the final system of algebraic equations.
