We estimated burn severity from both reflective and thermal remotely sensed data. 111 Composite Burn Index (CBI) plots in Central Spain were measured for validation. Land Surface Temperature (LST) was calculated from Landsat-7 ETM + thermal data. Multiple Endmember Spectral Mixture Analysis (MESMA) computed fraction images. Multinomial Logistic Regression of fraction images and LST led to a burn severity map.
