Olive tree pruning was thermal decomposed in inert and oxygen-based atmospheres. Catalytic effect of nickel on thermal decomposition was analyzed. Results showed the same shape of the TG and DTG curves for raw and Ni-sample. Ni-loaded sample showed a slight decrease in the values of activation energy. Environmental implication of presence of nickel on thermal decomposition was studied.
