The phase shifter of a 10 W/70 K inertance pulse tube refrigerator is investigated. Effects of reservoir volume on cooling performance are investigated. Effects of surface roughness of inertance tube on cooling performance are studied. Relative Carnot efficiency of 14.75% is obtained by optimizing the phase shifter.
