Flow and heat transfer performances of dilute magnetorheological fluid flowing through hot micro channel

The TLBM with doubled-population is established to simulate the flow of dilute MRF. A new method for calculating external forces on lattice node is proposed. The magnetic dipole force plays the dominant role in motion of magnetic particles. Both temperature and heat flux boundary conditions are used in TLBM simulations. Dilute MRF without external magnetic field behaves a better heat transfer capability.
