Core/shell Iron (Core) and iron oxide (Shell) have been prepared by thermal decomposition of Iron pentacarbonyl. Post annealing effect on structural, morphological and magnetic analyses has been employed. Structural, morphological and magnetic phase transitions as a function of annealing temperature have been observed.
