Underground rail reduces health impact attributed to PMx in cities. Changes in traffic composition reduce health impacts attributed to NO2 and C6H6. Monetary savings from PM10 and PM2.5 exposure correspond to 60 and 49 million Euro. Monetary savings from NO2 and C6H6 exposure correspond to 41 and 1 million Euro. 3–4% reduction in mortality and morbidity from green transport policies.
