Relationship between international tourism, transportation, travel and transport services evaluated in this study. The study constructed travel and tourism competitiveness index by Principal Component Analysis. Air and railways transportation increases international tourism in a panel of 19 tourists-oriented countries. Inbound and outbound tourism has bidirectional causality with air transportation. Air freight exerts the largest variance to explain inbound and outbound index for next ten years period.
