Thrombin caused disassembly of peripheral MT, while HGF promoted MT growth. EB-1 knockdown did not affect thrombin-induced Rho activation and permeability. EB-1 knockdown suppressed HGF-induced Rac1 activation and cytoskeletal remodeling. Increased EB-1 peripheral distribution is essential for EC barrier enhancement.
