Assessments of the relation between the degree of order of the ultrafast laser deposited carbon film and the features of the Raman spectrum's D band

For DLC films, D band's location and FWHM increase as the increase of the degree of order of the carbon films. Two Gaussian peak fitting functions are better when using D band's features to indicate amorphization degree of DLC films. The dependence of D band's features on the degree of order of DLC films can be explained by Gaussian confinement model.
