Large-scale untargeted UPLC-QTOF based metabolomics was used to compare the component variant of wheat under different N level. Pattern recognition methods showed a clear separation between the samples. Chemical analyses identified 11 biomarkers. Flavonoids and their related derivatives were the main distinctive compounds.
