C0 quadrilateral element is enriched by using trigonometric and exponential functions in the context of GFEM. The GFEM element is employed for free vibration analysis with mesh distortion and several enrichment levels. The GFEM element developed shows insensibility to mesh distortion with low levels of enrichment.
