‘The Vicious Worm’ was found to be an effective health education tool regarding risks, control, and prevention of T. solium taeniosis/cysticercosis. Study subjects improved their knowledge regarding T. solium taeniosis/cysticercosis due to the education program. There was a positive attitude towards the program and teaching method. We suggest ‘The Vicious Worm’ to be integrated as a control tool of T. solium taeniosis/cysticercosis after a more in depth evaluation.
