Bright green fluorescent Au NCs were facilely prepared with eptifibatide as the ligand. NaBr had greatly improved the fluorescent intensity of eptifibatide@AuNCs. Eptifibatide@Au NCs showed good biocompatibility and low cytotoxicity. The as-prepared probe were applied for in vitro cellular imaging of HeLa cell and Chromaffin cells.
